About Eclipse | Meet The Director!

Eclipse Dance Complex was founded in March 2023 by Owner and Artistic Director Sierra Medwig in Sayville, NY. Sierra began dancing at the age of four when her grandparents signed her up for a ballet class—and from that moment on, she knew dance would be a lifelong passion. After years of training at a competitive studio, Sierra founded and coached her high school’s Varsity Dance Team. After high school, Sierra expanded her training by immersing herself in a ballet conservatory setting, an experience that challenged and shaped her both artistically and personally. Since then, she has spent years teaching and choreographing throughout Long Island. In 2023, she turned her lifelong dream into reality by opening Eclipse Dance Complex—a studio built on compassion, positivity, and strong technique. At Eclipse, we are committed to providing a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive. Our dedicated faculty shares Sierra’s passion for dance and works to ensure every dancer receives a well-rounded, meaningful experience that goes far beyond the studio walls.
