Getting Started
My child has never danced before. Can they still join? Absolutely! Many of our dancers begin with little or no experience. We offer beginner-friendly classes and help place dancers in the best fit based on age, experience, and goals.
How do I know which class is right for my child? Our team is happy to help! Fill out our Get Started form and we’ll recommend classes based on your dancer’s age, interests, and experience.
Can my child try a class before enrolling? We offer a 3 for $30 trial session, which allows new dancers to adapt to their dance class. Trial classes may be available depending on the class and time of year. Contact us to learn more about getting started!
Is it too late to start dance? Not at all! Many new dancers join throughout the season. Placement depends on age, experience, and class availability.
What To Wear
What should my dancer wear to class? Comfortable clothing that allows movement is a great place to start! Dress code and shoe requirements vary by class and will be shared upon enrollment.
Do I need dance shoes before the first class? Not always! We’ll help guide you on what your dancer needs for their specific classes.
Parents & Class Expectations
Can parents watch class? We have a TV in our lobby to view both of our studios, and we invite all parents and guardians to hang out in our lobby for viewing their dancer! Our goal is always to create a positive environment where dancers can build confidence and independence.
What if my child is shy or nervous? That’s completely normal! Many dancers need a little time to adjust. Our teachers focus on creating a welcoming environment where dancers can build confidence at their own pace.
